Huatulco's rocky coastline and multiple bays that are visible gives the angler a glimpse into the available underwater structure. There are 30 miles of untapped coastline with a bottom that quickly drops away. There are multiple islands, rivermouths, and underwater canyons and seamounts in the area. The North American trench extends from Panama to Baja, and passes directly by the coast of southern mexico. This produces currents that are rich in nutrients.  |
